The G.C. Foster College was graced with a visit from local and international members of the weight lifting fraternity on Friday September 23rd 2022.
The visit was led by Dr. Mark Broomfield, President of the Jamaica Weightlifting Federation ,Jose Quinones, Presdient of the Pan-American Weightlifting Federation and former national weightlifter Trevor Austin.
In his remarks, José Quinones established the desire of having G.C. Foster College as the national training base, thus the need for the signing of an MOU. He went further to state that upon establishing such an agreement, the college will benefit from the provision of all the requisite equipment and other items needed for the program to be successful.
