G.C. Foster College congratulates Simeon Ramsay on his recent award received at the Circle K District Convention held at the Cardiff hotel and Spa in Runaway Bay, St. Ann, Jamaica from March 5-7, 2021. Simeon, a second-year student in the Bachelor in Education programme was awarded for being an outstanding president of College’s Circle K Club. The new club excelled even though activities started officially on the campus in February 2020.
What was noteworthy was his excellent management skills that was demonstrated amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. The club played an active role in completing service projects while reaching out to the community.
The Circle K clubs that operate on a college level are under the auspices of the Circle K International (CKI) that is a sponsored program of Kiwanis International – a community-service organization for professional men and women. There are CKI clubs on more than 550 college and university campuses worldwide with more than 13,000 student members.
G.C. Foster College students continue to excel amidst the various challenges being encountered in the nation and in the world.
