G.C. Foster College and Shortwood Teachers’ College initiated a collaboration on May 31, 2022 at the G.C. Foster College’s Boardroom. This collaboration will produce a joint Bachelor in Education programme. G.C. Foster College will offer the Bachelor in Education with a major in Physical Education and minor in Physics. Shortwood on the other hand will offer the Bachelor in Education with a major in Physics and minor in Physical Education.
Mr. Wilford Billy Heaven, Chief Executive Officer at C.H.A.S.E Fund was the Guest Speaker. Mr. Heaven lauded the two institutions for conceptualizing this groundbreaking initiative that will change the landscape of Physical Education & Sport in Jamaica.
