Library Rules & Regulations
Persons not connected to the college must apply to the Librarian for permission to use the Library or take a letter from the institution that they are attached to, requesting permission to use the library. Such persons may be admitted only at the discretion of the Librarian.
The Librarian (In consultation with the Principal) from time to time determines the Library opening hours. Whenever possible, information regarding changes will be posted in the library.
A warning is sounded at 30 minutes and again at 15 minutes before closing time. All loans must be completed during this time, because at the third and final signal for closing time all readers must leave the library.
Materials must be returned on or before the last date stamped on the label in the book. Failure to comply will result in fines being levied. Overnight books are due at 10:00 am on the following day. They become overdue after that time and a fine will be charged. (See page 12 for the fines).
Borrowers who are persistently late in returning books may be deprived of borrowing privileges.
